Gateway Habitat for Humanity

Date: 27 January 2010 11:30 Gateway Habitat for Humanity is looking for work groups of 8 - 20 to insulate, frame and hang rock.  Bring your own experienced supervisor and work any day of the week OR use our skilled help on Wednesday evening or Saturday morning.  Ages 16 and older welcome.  Phone Con at 244-9300 to schedule a work party.

Donate Food:
Donations to your church or to the Idaho Food Bank, located on 555 S. 1st Ave., Pocatello.
Donate Money:
The Idaho Food bank can purchase $7.50 worth of food with every dollar you donate.

Monetary donations actually go farther than food donations! All commercially canned or packaged food is welcome.
Help us reach out in love to all those who are hungry.

Interfaith Progressive Dinner: Saturday, March 13. Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple. 100% of the proceeds go to the Idaho Foodbank. For tickets contact a participating location or the Idaho Food Bank at 233-3229.

Interfaith Prayer Service: Saturday, March 20 at the First Presbyterian Church on 202 S. 7th Avenue in Pocatello at 12 noon. Call Jeanne at 478-2363 for more information.

The Cannery in Idaho Falls: Wednesday, March 24th at 6:00PM at the Cannery in Idaho Falls. Come help us can 180 cases of spaghetti sauce! We need a minimum of 20 people. If you need transportation, meet us at Central Christian Church at 4:20 pm to ride up in the van. Please sign up to take part in this fun project! Many hands make light work. Call Carol at 232-5222 for more information.

Grocery Store Collection: Saturday,March 27th between the hours of 10AM and 4PM. Sign up to greet the public for an hour at the door of Albertsons, Fred Meyer or Riddley's grocery store and ask them to contribute to the Feeding the 5,000 Food Drive! Call Karen at 232-9250 for more information.

Closing Celebration: Come celebrate the end of a successful campaign on Monday, April 19th at the Idaho Foodbank-555 S. First Street in Pocatello. The event begins at 5:45 and is free to the public, although we do ask that you bring 2 cans of either chili or vegetables. One goes in the donation barrel and one goes into a mulligan stew that will be cooked by Dutch Oven Delights and served after the service.
